This necklace was created through the method called Tiffany technique a stained glass method developed in 1870 by Louis Comfort Tiffany.
The metalwork is done directly onto each crystal, stone etc.. using layers of silver, lead-free solder over copper and silver wirework.
A white brass death moth casting joined with a large flashy Labradorite sits upon a hand sawed copper base & bound in my handdone wire & molten metalwork all cradled in a shroud of molten metals (Sterling silver, tin and copper)
The handdone metalwork is darkened and then polished to show dimension and to embellish the highlights of each piece with the intent to give an ancient aesthetic.
I then seal with jewelry wax and a skin safe lacquer to protect the wearer, and the jewelry over time.
To prolong the life of your jewels, do not wear/submerge in water.
